I have a 7 minute cross-platform change at Reading tomorrow (off the 07:39 from Paddington Platform 4 onto the 07:46 to Bournemouth Platform 3).

NRE shows it as valid, and the minimum interchange time is 7 minutes, and it's cross-platform - does anyone have experience of arrivals at Reading at that time of the morning?

Platform 4 arrivals in the evening usually runs somewhere up to 5 minutes late (and often worse), but not sure what the morning is like?

You should be OK if the train is on time, which is more likely in the morning compared to the evening peak.

If you are in coach A or B (assuming the train is a HST and in the usual formation) than it's only a few steps to get to platform 3.

I see that you were a few minutes late into Reading but the Bomo train left 6 late from Platform 8 this morning. I hope you made it!
