Hi,
I want to buy a ticket from Twyford to Sevenoaks on a Monday To Friday leaving about 1030 and returning about 1600. I was looking at the BR fares off peak day return but I'm a bit confused by the restriction code PZ. Obviously Id be the on the return journey from Paddington to Twyford in the evening peak. But restriction code PZ at first says not valid from London from 1600 to 1900, by the sound of it on all trains, not just GWR., presumably also including Elizabeth line.
But further down it also says the evening peak restriction is only applicable to the outward journey and there's no evening peak restrictions on the return journey.
It seems to be a bit contradictory, does anyone know whether I'd be OK with the off-peak day return.

If you were to use a printed ticket for this journey, you’d be directed to nre.co.uk/PZ.

The restrictions listed there do not suggest the evening easement to allow return journeys during the evening peak.

Reviewing the unpublished restrictions you mention, I’d be inclined to suggest you may be able to get an online journey planner to offer you this ticket for journeys in the evening peak.

It appears that Southeastern (who set the fares for that journey) may have picked the wrong restriction code as PZ only applies the PM peak restriction to the outward leg.

For Sevenoaks to Twyford they've opted for PS, which applies the PM peak in both directions, so one of the two is definitely incorrect.
