No official upper limit, but if you're close to retirement, they may be less optimistic about shelling out on training you - their return on the investment would be limited.

No upper limit as far as I can tell, I have just started a course and am 45. There is another trainee in his mid 50's.

Is the online visual test new? I haven't had to do one before. I have just been told I have passed. Thanks for the info folks btw.
