Conductor training Leeds

Hi everyone

Due to start conductor training in Leeds late April, anyone else booked on?

Any advice or tips on how the course runs? Times, layout ect. Also what is the dress code? Also how does commission work, what could I realistically expect from it financially?

Hi Nat, will be starting a course myself in a few weeks, only mine starts May 8th. Not sure where though yet. Whereabouts are you going to be based?

Training mostly 9-4 Mon - Fri for first 8 weeks or so then out with Minders. Dress formal until given uniform. Commission is 3% for conductors based on east, 5% for conductors based on west. Earnings vary greatly based on depot and routes covered.

sheffield. Just a little concerned about Doo in all honesty. see there are strikes tomorrow for the area i will be covering. Anyone any advice, am i gonna find it a short lived career?
Also what can i roughly expect from commision? (roughly just to get an idea)

hi nat ,booked on back end of april ,hope its leeds ,forgot to ask...medical passed yday waiting for official contract...as for it being a shortlived career..asked that question on interview..seemed positive ...
