Anyone know what the assessment centre is like for these roles? I have a feeling it's not as universal as the Train Driver or signaler assessment centre and that each TOC tend to create their own unique version much like the assessments TOCs use for their CSA roles.

The how2become website states the assessment consists of
1. Ticket selling exam
2. Ticket checking exam
3. Role-play assessment
4. Group bourdon concentration test.

Anyone got any insider knowledge or tips for a train managers assessment?

when I first applied for VT i had an interview for Train Manager.

Started off with 60 secs filmed why you want the job/what makes you a good TM

then into a room to watch how you 'mingle' with the other candidates.

next up was ticket and maths test which was easy enough. fare table was given calculate the fares, are these tickets valid if not why etc etc
