@BrokenSam is there any chance you could break that down for me even in private message? What's the base, how much is it for day overtime? How much for working Sunday? Any thing like apparently Northern does pay for scanning ticket codes when people have digital tickets etc etc. I'm really curious as I just passed interview and medicals and I know that conductors for Northern for example apparently are on 29k so I was wondering where that difference comes from. Thanks for any info.

A few quid under £35k qualified basic pay, not including Sundays. Not sure how much the pay rate is for a Sunday. No payments for scanning tickets but still earn 4% commission on ticket sales.

Still double time on Sunday for now I think.

It will vary slightly depending on TOC, our base is between 32/33k, with Sunday outside of the working week so that's probably around an additional 1.5k for the year. Then factor in any additional OT and commission
