From what I can remember from mine. Hearing test, eyesight test, height, weight, blood pressure, Questions about your general health and drugs and alcohol test. I believe I found out I’d passed the medical a week or 2 after testing.

Which depot will you be based at?

You will know on the day if you've passed, assuming no complications or anything that need further investigation. Just to add to previous posters that the eyesight test has minimum standards both with and without glasses (if you wear them) and there is also a colour blindness test. They also check for diabetes.

The alcohol test is a breathalyser so you get results straight away. The drugs test takes about a week to come back although you if you've not taken anything you know what the result will be.

I thought you only need to declare that, didn't know they actually check it. Thanks for the info though.

They probably do a dip test in the urine to check for elevated readings.
