Just wondering are assessment passes industry wide?

Im currently in a talent pool for one company but have just applied for another so just curious. The company I sat my assessment with originally didn't have a GB test but instead SCAAT.

Any help would be great

As far as I am aware, test passes go onto a database that all TOC's have access to. When I did my last assessment for my TOC, they asked before starting if anyone had sat them in the last 2 years. Couple of guys put their hands up and didn't have to sit some parts of it. I daresay someone will be along in a bit to prove me wrong, though......... Is London Midland one of the companies you're looking at??

No just applied for FTPE. I wont mention the other company im in a talent pool with as I don't want to scupper any chance I might have with them .

Thanks a lot for the reply, not at assessment stage yet but fingers crossed all going well I will be shortly. Desperate to get into the industry now so started looking at other TOCs, cant wait around forever in the hope I may get a phone call.

It's worth bearing in mind that once you're in the talent pool, the odd phone call once every three months or so just to remind them you're still interested wouldn't hurt. Reason I ask about LM is that judging by when I had my assessments, they didn't check the database, hence the question they asked once everyone was in the room.

I've been in contact every couple of months but they've said it could be anything up to a year so not holding my breath

Ah right cheers, i'll be sure to raise it if I get as far as assessement stage - hope you got the job you went for.
