Computer technical printing query

Good morning,

Today, my PC seems to have lost the ability to print direct from BT & Google E-mails and some some internet pages.

Normally when I want to print from any of the above, I move the mouse onto the print Icon and click, then it goes onto a printer set up page, which normally shows 3 buttons on the top left hand side, Print, Save & Cancel, I would then click on Print and the print out comes out, however, the Print Button has disappeared, it was there yesterday and I don't know how to get it back. I have tried looking for online instructions, but to no avail.

It still seems to work fine from any Word or Excel Document I have.

I wonder if anyone knows how I can re-instate this function.

By the way Ctrl + P does not work either.

It affects, my BT Mail and Gmail, plus printing from web pages. It's been fine until this morning. My Browser is Google.

It's ok, I think I have fixed it. I just logged on again and tried a few more options and I somehow seem to have restored the missing printing button and just printed the document I could not do earlier. (Maybe I accidentally pressed something in error earlier.)

I am pleased I seem to have mended, as I am not very good with IT. (I am from the generation that thought decimal calculators, faxes and Betamax VCRs were the bees knees).

No, the Philips 2000 was a vastly superior video recording system - you could use both sides of the tape, get hours of recording on one tape without losing any picture quality (which was better than Betamax and VHS to start with) but the tapes were expensive to buy and fewer and fewer outlets stocked them until it became obsolete. Beats DVDs hands down.

That's interesting about the Philips System, I do vaguely remember that.

I still prefer using VHS VCR Tapes now rather than DVDs, they just seem easier.
