If there is the slighest spelling mistake on an application does this result in an automatic fail?

I remember there being one word you can't use or it fails your application?

Be interested to know the parameters

guess it varys between applications for example train driver has so many applicants it is an easy fail if there are grammar mistakes.

I would point out I got through once on a few assessments with an application that in hindsight seemed poorly worded.. makes you wonder if they really read them?

I can't imagine someone reading in detail all the application answers.. that would need a lot of time! It must be terribly hard to mark these answers as well. So many factors so many factors..
