Computer query for TS2022

Hi all, I’m wondering if the below is likely to run TS2022 on the highest settings for everything, thanks

Processor - Intel® CoreTM i7 Eight Core Processor i7-10700K (3.8GHz) 16MB Cache

Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z590 UD AC (LGA1200, USB 3.2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX, Wi-Fi) - ARGB Ready

Memory - 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz (2 x 16GB)

Graphics card - 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!

First storage drive - 1TB Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (up to 560MB/sR | 530MB/sW)

I have an Acer XC895 with an Intel i5 9400, 16Gb of Samsung 2600Mhz, a low profile GTX 1650 4Gb and an Adata SX8200 Pro @ 3400/2300 MB/sec. It can run at 1440p and 40-50 fps, via the display port, with most settings on max. I tend to limit it to 30 fps as there is little to be gained from running any higher. You should be fine with your specs. In comparison, my copy of TSW2 runs smoothly at 4k with maximum settings applied.

Sounds good. Train Sim isn't very-well optimised, so it relies on the CPU to do well, as opposed to most games where often a stronger graphics card will produce better... well.. graphics. I (only) have a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 1080Ti, and get 40-50fps at the minute at 1440p on max settings, with Railworks Enhancer Pro installed too.

If you've got the spare budget, I'd recommend upgrading to an NVME SSD as they're quite a bit quicker and will futureproof you. I'd also get a HDD for extra storage, as my TS install alone is at least 500GB off the top of my head.

Sounds good.

As mentioned, TS seems to rely on single core, so multi cores won’t really help here.

I’d just suggest getting a larger SSD. It won’t be long before 1TB gets filled up, and 2TB costs what 1TB did but a couple of years ago.
