Hi guys

I'm completely new to trainsims. I want to get a train sim to compliment MS Flight Sim X but I'm not sure which one to get. In particular, I'm interested in the Southwest US area (California/Nevada/Arizona) and other areas of the US. Is there a particular sim that is better for this area (I'm not too fussed about any UK routes although those would be a bonus!)

I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Microsoft train simulator is probably your best bet if you want US routes, there are 2 already on the game (marias pass, montanna and a section of the north east corridor between Washington DC and Philly) also there are a lot more add-ons for MSTS than other sims, if you visit www.railserve.com there are a lot of freeware add-ons with a US theme including locos and routes. MSTS will also work on just about any computer with windows 98 or later, im using a laptop that i found fossilised in a cave and it still works on that.
