While trying to upload a photo for this competition, after uploading a file and clicking "Continue", I am presented with a screen saying the following:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.railforums.co.uk/gallery/db_input.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

If I then try to reload the page, as it suggests, then I get this:

Critical error
Script called without the required parameter(s).

I have attempted to upload the same file twice now and have been faced with the same problem both times. As this has not been brought up already, I presume that I am the only one who is being faced with this issue?

UPDATE: Aha, just had a go at resizing the image to make it smaller and submitting it again, and this time it uploaded just fine. "Crisis" averted

Destination directory albums/userpics/18238/ is not writable by the script!

Some users to seem to be experiencing issues with the gallery, apologies for this - it is being investigated.
