No surprise to see a lot of entries, but the shot that stuck out the most, that I felt created a fantastic image, is #7. Wish I'd been there

Indeed, a stunning shot that one. As is the 37 on Glenfinnan Viaduct, however the 20s and 73 shot at Bristol Temple Meads (that is, number 9) got my vote. Who knows when the next chance to get such a shot will be!

I also loved the shot of the 20s on the LU move, bar the rapeseed fields. I hate that stuff so much, and found it detracted attention towards it rather than the intended subject of the photo.

7 edges 14 and 17 for me. As for the other 15, maybe it's something to do with the number 7? (7; 7x2; 17)

A fine selection though; although - interesting it may be - does 2 officially fit the rules...?

POTW Rules said:
All photos must be railway related

Does a photo have to actually depict a railway scene, or do non-railway scenes with railway "connections" [i.e. manufacturers in this instance] suffice...?

Its difficult to define, but EE is definately "railway related" so I let it through.

Agreed 15,17 & 18 all very good shots with masses of colour to 17...excellent.
But because its local and so unusual 12 gets my vote!

Thanks to all those who voted for my shot - and I hope you have fun with my choice of theme.
Time to dig out all those shots you thought you'd have no use for !!

Trouble is, anything I take that went too badly wrong gets deleted - already got a hard-drive full of lame shots without adding to them!
