Excellent selection of pics this week. Nos. 1, 5 and 7 stood out for me. In the end I plumped for 5. Well done to whoever took this shot in the freezing weather - been there and done that myself recently! Really nice shot.

I went for number 10. Lovely vibrant colours that immediately grab your attention and a nice sky too.

Same here, I would have gone for 08 if it had some colour to it but I cannot see why it is necessary to be in B+W, similarly for number 5 I didn't feel there was enough colour saturation or brightness for it to take my vote.

Gone for #5 myself, must have been a bit keen to venture out in that 'orrible lot.

#12........is that Corby or Kettering by any chance?? It must be an iron&steel centre of old with the large air-heater in the LH background....? Anyone else recognise any landmarks? It states St Helens on the 'copy link' jobbie but I dont recognise it as St Helens......:(

I only heard about 33207 at Stafford the day before, i was heading to work that day (i work for ASDA!) and i was working overtime so i came by train, arrived and took an few photos, decided to call it quits at 0920 and walk to work but as i walked off the footbridge, the 0925 to Bouremouth was about to arrive but i saw 33207 in the distant and went back over the footbridge and walked up to it in the Freezing snow to take an photo of it

But would you have found out about it if it wasn't for me? No! So the way I see it bro, I won the competition and you only profited from my victory ;)

Congratulations Simon (or Ian :P) - it was a good shot.
Just happened to be taken on a day that I was down at the station too, though later, although I don't recall the snow been quite that bad :s
Also, if you work at Asda in Stafford, I may bump into you sometime :)

Fair comment - it was taken at 7.10 pm and the light was low, I simply thought it looked better in black and white, but having reviewed it again it probably does look better in colour, even though it is quite dull.
