Its simple, all you need to do is go down to your local homebase / b&q and take a few pictures of a shed :p. Seriously though it will be an interesting competition but at least the picture with the 37 or deltic can't win this one, lol

I can't take any pictures very easily at the minute because I've injured my right hand :( I can still use the camera, but I need some help or have to accept poorer quality.

Looks like I won't be entering any time soon either. Not unless something I already have (which a 66 is not) is usable.

With the amount of 66's there are on the network along with their ample working locations, I would have thought everybody would have at least one usable photo?

Ivo, why not place your camera on a sturdy tripod, and use your left hand for the shutter?

Surely the camera may require a slightly higher shutter speed, and it may be only one chance shot per train, but with of 600 UK Class 66s, your laughing?

Anyway, I'm new to this forum, so will give it a whirl. Have more than enough Class 66 pictures!

Cheers, Richard

Looks like I may be able to enter after all, my camera arrived back today having had a new mainboard :D

EDIT: And I also have a perfect setting lined up.

This is going to be a hard one to win, however you've got to be 'in it to win it'!

I should be entering*!

*That doesn't mean I will be!

Several times I've seen 66s this week, in perfect conditions - but each time I've not had my camera with me or been too late to take the shot!
