Haven't chosen my vote yet, but I'm loving the picture of 40145 in large logo on the mainline in a competition of liveries NOT on the mainline, even though 37425 is also still on the mainline.

Number 10 for me. A fantastic viewpoint of a BR-era service I would have loved to travel on. It just isn't the same under First...

It could easily be seen as a defunct livery though. Like I always say, if you don't like it don't vote for it!

Nothing truly outstanding this week, although some overall good shots. I went for 9.

Agreed, #10 gets mine also..........but its the whole photo subject that makes it so reminiscent of the old IC going-on-holiday ads that give it the edge.
Liked #8 and #2 also.

Have to agree with the majority on this - #10 has that "feel" about it - looks almost like an 80's advert for the railways (and quite possible was used as such!)
Also, #6 - I am prepared to stand corrected but the 144 looks like the "old" Metro livery - which quite a few Northern trains still go round with, abeit with an "N" on the side now

Number 8 gets my vote this week simply because of the history in it.

Anyway, I was going to upload this image for the competition, but then realised several EMT power cars still need repainting, so it isn't a defunct livery (yet).

Out of all of those (I think they were all good), I thought that 10, 14 and 04 were the best of the selection, but I went for number 14!

16 for me, I like 170s as I like all traction and the One livery really did suit the 170.

Ivo: Back on form I see

That Dawlish shot was something special. A contender for Photo of the Year in my book.

Please stop going on about not getting any votes, plenty of other people don't get any votes either but they don't moan about it every week! ;)

I apologise if my post also sounded like this, It wasn't meant to sound like moaning as I was trying to compliment the other pictures :) (and that some people vote for their favourite train, but not in the case of the IC 125 though that was a brilliant picture)

Well done to curly42 also - a really good shot and a worthy winner - that percentage must be a fiarly rare thing too considering the number of overall votes this week too!

I'm not moaning about it; I'm trying to make it seem amusing. If it fails, then fine. I'll stop. I probably wouldn't have put anything had it not been for me actually scoring a couple of votes last time, and then returning to previous form.

Sorry
