How is 03 an Excursion?

Same goes for No 15!

I am however still undecided!

4 is actually a pretty good shot, so (for Swiss Toni) it is neither sarcastic or bengley being "a prat". However, it does not get my vote, which goes to 9.

Just to clarify, and then I'm saying no more on the matter, I'm not naive, I'm autistic. I find sarcasm very difficult to follow. But this one did not appear to be sarcastic; just an exaggeration.

Why don't you guys shut up for once? I was actually being serious. The mountains in the background are stunning. I even voted for it. I'm only sarcastic if something is really bad and this isn't even close to bad.

You're the only one here that realised that I was serious, despite being autistic so well done.

I wouldn't got that far, its rather under-exposed. I'm sure it would be far nicer touched up in photoshop.

The sky looks like it already has been touched up to a degree. It's been done as such that I can tell who's entry it actually is, obviously I won't say who, but the overall image is left looking a bit flat.

I agree that it's a bit dark, but damn, the scenery and the angle of the picture is awesome.

I gathered something like that would be the case, but you'd hardl accept a picture of a 37 leaving Carlisle Kingmoor to be of a nuclear train would you. At the end of the day, if people don't think it fits the category, then don't vote for it. Personally, as the photo doesn't show an excursion, it's not up for voting.

It is actually at Carlisle, probably taken on the 7th February 2009. Not my shot, but I was there with a camera. All five locos involved on the tour are in shot (3 x 20 and 1 x 37 as well as the 57), but none of them is attached to the stock. Not really a photograph of an excursion train in my opinion.

A couple of good shots this week, the one that gets my vote is 10,closely followed by 9. The main reason i didn't vote for 9 is the mix of coach liveries (obviously beyond the control of the fotter without spending crazy amounts of time in PS),it just seems to distract me from the main fot somehow.

There are a couple in there that make me wonder if people think they have got to enter the POTW comp,i guess the usual "if you don't like it don't vote for it" rule applies all the same.
