It's definately 5, which is the right length for a SuperVoyager.

It looks like it may be from before the pendo lengthening, that tree would struggle to cover 3 more cars.

Units up to 390034 were delivered as 8-car sets, without the 688xx car. The extra 9th car was added in 2004/5

Well, I've gone for eight. I'm amused by all of the waffle this week regarding where the missing carriages are. Behind the trees perhaps? The rest are mostly a ropey collection of station shots so it wasn't hard to choose.

Yes - far from the most inspiring collection, perhaps because of the uninspiring nature of the subject matter.
I think I went for 1 or three - can't remember.
