Well, I ruled out empties, because the theme was "Power to the people!"; so the wagons had to have the chance of being full! So I voted for 6...

Number 2 is good for it's heritage value, but I'm going for 6 myself, quite a powerful image.

3 - artistry. the rest are TOO trad
I find myself in total agreement, I knew that when the contest 330 was announced, it would feature 66's in various poses.........but that rear shot of Barnetby with semaphores and hardly a 66 in sight do it for me.
#2 warrants a worth runner-up!

Congratulations to D1001, although I wonder how well I'd fare with a wrong side of sun shot of coal passing a station these days? Seriously, it is not me having a go, but it's interesting how times change and how much we demand of photo now

Oh er... That's the first thing I've won since a three legged race in 1969! (and that was a shared triumph!)

I have to admit I am surprised to win this one and it says something that a shot from 198x does better than all my new arty hi tec photos from this year! Now, where's my old OM2?
