Better watch yourself there with that comment Mumrar! So does it have to be taken on the platform or does the bridge over the station not count?

Don't worry, tongue firmly in cheek. I'd take a guess that station footbridge is fine, but road bridge is not, as the definition was taken within the confines of a station

Well there goes your anonymity, unless everybody else enters shots from trains at stations.

Maybe a silly question, but does any part of the station/platform actually have to be visable in the picture?

I would assume so because otherwise it might not be considered a station shot

As long as it's evident the photo was taken from station premises then it is ok.

I'm having a problem in the fact I cannot log into the Photo competition part of the forum as when I click onto "Log in" it re-directs me back to the main site.

change the .org.uk to co.uk i did it and now it works fine
