It was still EWS operated at the time - before DB took complete control so I accepted it.

If you don't think it to be a valid entry, don't vote for it

I voted for number 6 in the end, just looked right to me.

18 stood out to me, just because it's an everyday scene, it's been put into a great location on the S&C, well done. Surprised not to see the royal train in here, I considered entering a shot of Tornado hauling it, but didn't (as you can tell by it's absence). Well done to all, always going to be a popular subject with lots to choose from.

Thanks to all the voters and also all the other entries that made it such a tough call this week. Who'd have thought we'd be struggling to rate shots of mainly sheds by their greatness. I gues the definition of a good railway image is that it doesn't necessarily matter what the specific traction is
