When have 455s really gone out their areas? Apart from for refurbishment work to Chart Leacon.

Your speaking to 455 veg here;), and Jordy said it was ''unique liveries'', or ''advertising liveries''. I seem to recall SWT having Legoland, Poppy, 5904 had an odd livery and another one had one.

You quoted Jord.

I know there was several liverys but seeing as you quoted Jord, it suggested that you had shots of the above 455s in out of their area places.

What about unique liveries in the wrong places for instance Alphaline in Scotland?

If the livery is unique then yes obviously, but if its on a large number of trains (eg Alphaline) then no

I presume the advertising 66's will be allowed? Like Eddie and the ones from DRS?

How about liveries that are to be applied to various unit's but as of this time have only been apllied to one unit or loco such as the EMT livery on the HST.

he meant just the HST, that livery is unique, as it varies from the others.

Exactly and also this could go for examples of shot's of shunter's in Toc liveries such as Silver link ect.

Basically it need's specifying where one off's mean a livery that isnt wide spread or unique in what it has been applied to.

Say for instance if I sent a pic of a MML teal / orange 08 (only one in that livery) would it be valid, remembering all stock was once this colour bar 222s. Or a Serco 08.

Its not that hard, use some self judgement, if you think its a unique livery then upload it, if others don't they won't vote for it!

Re MML teal on an 08, yes that would be fine as it is only applied to one of the class (AFAIK) and there are no plans to roll it out onto others. This applies to others too, for example the shunter at Hornsey (clive?) in FCC livery would count.

EMT livery does not count, as it is not a livery that is only going to be applied to a small number of trains.

Now you are just contradicting yourselves.

A minute ago the 321/9's were valid but as its being rolled out to the 333's later this year it doesn't count :lol::lol:

Unique in this context surely means a train which carries an exclusive livery - but the rules allow for liveries exclusive to class types, which are not unique?

I'm just trying to allow a larger variety of pictures, topics so specific as what you described would allow only a very limited range of pictures!

Exactly, If you don't think its unique, don't vote for it.
