There was that father and Son team who paid for all their rail journeys by fraudulently claiming they were on delayed services (using Rovers etc), ***** (and Realtime Trains) make this quite easy to do if you can be bothered.

They did get caught but I cant remember what the outcome was.

I've just had a reply from Passenger Focus. TPE have now accepted that Rovers are eligible for compensation and they'll be updating their Passenger Charter to reflect this soon. They're also sending me a goodwill gesture of £40 in Rail Travel Vouchers in view of the poor correspondence I received.
