Compass tours to York 22nd Oct

Anyone know what is likely to be the traction on the compass tours to York on 22nd October? WC 47s?

WCRC are suffering a bit of a traction shortage at the moment, we (SRPS) got blue spoons last weekend. Not that it wasn't unwelcome!

Correct. The only exception being the 'The Autumn Highlander' Preston-Oban trip on Wednesday 19th October - that's WCRC 37s due to 47s/57s not being allowed up to Oban! Another loco to be used occasionally is 57601, only if no 47s are available!

Or 57001 - it's been a regular on the Royal Scotsman
