As an OM-1 owner myself, a very good choice - a pro-grade camera with excellent ergonomics and amongst the best image stabilization in the business. Plenty of lens choices too from both Olympus/OM System and Panasonic Lumix (I mostly use it with the Oly/OMS 12-40 F2.8 and 12-100 F4).

Did you go for the OM-1 ii or the original version?
I chose the OM-1 mk2.

So you didn't fancy splashing out £1600 then waiting months for the latest X100VI then? ;)

No, I prefer the style of the older X100 models but also, I don't want more than 24mp, I know eventually I'll have no choice as that is the way things are going, but I'll put it off as long as possible.
