I don't see a specific thread for chat about the bus fleet that are in use or will be in use soon, but if there is one mods, feel free to merge it.

So since the Officials and other folk are starting to arrive, Translink are now out in force within the East End of Glasgow, primarily the Dalmarnock area. So far I've noticed quite a Pink Metro and Blue Ulsterbus Gemini 2's.

Also seen quite a few First Streetlites that aren't from Glasgow, and also the E400's that First have put to Glasgow which are heading to Manchester and Yorkshire afterwards are now doing the rounds as well.

If I see anything else during my shifts from the back of house areas, I'll make sure to post it on here...

A few NXWM and Reading Transport buses are up there from what I've heard.

Reading Buses have also sent a fleet of E400h's up as well. Spoke to a Translink driver today and he was saying Gushetfaulds is nearly full. Also Translink have sent over 100 Gemini 2's and travelled on a few First Solent Streetlites...

Good lord. They'll be put to good use, that's for sure.

The Translink drivers are an absolute laugh, the Reading drivers not so much. Haven't had any contact with the NX drivers yet. Also I haven't actually seen any First drivers drive their own buses. It's all the Translink drivers that are driving their own and the First batch...

It is indeed NX using E400's which are destined for the West Midlands afterwards...

Nope.

National Express Dundee's pink and white Gemini's will be used on the Barry Buddon contract along with five Stagecoach Strathtay E400s

The NX drivers in Glasgow that I've been working alongside seem to think otherwise and also I've seen their running boards...

No normal E400 is currently sitting in the NXD depot. The Gemini's have already been working on the Barry Buddon services (7007, 7009, 7010, 7011, 7016)

NED don't have any E400s, and none from the West Midlands have been sighted in and around Dundee.

Stagecoach do have E400s, five of which will be providing the P&R service from Carnoustie on the days the shooting events take place at Barry Buddon.

I've just seen five red London double deckers heading north on the A7 in Carlisle. Apparently there were a lot more earlier in the day.
Presumably they're heading to Glasgow. Any idea why they'd go through Carlisle rather than stay on the M6?

Stop off point at one of Stagecoach North East's depots, depends on where these ones are going. They might stop off at Blochairn in Glasgow and then head on to Fife, or they could head to Cumbernauld. I'm sure mbonwick will know more...

None expected in Fife, so assume they'd be heading for Stagecoach's temporary Cumbernauld depot.

Another Trident has popped up at Blochairn complete with London legals, but it has temporary 'On Hire' legals for 'First Games Transport.'

More likely stopping off at Stagecoach Carlisle depot en route as I read elsewhere a number had called in at Carlisle depot.
