Committed Sundays at ATW

Hi all,

Just wondering about committed Sundays working for ATW. I know they are usually 1 in X depending on your depot but just wondered if they are predictable within that. So for example, say your depot is 1 in 3 Sundays, would it always be at a certain point in the link?

No set rules tbh. My depot is 1 in 3 approximately but there's no set pattern. You can usually get rid of them to colleagues if required anyway. Some depots it's only about 1 in 7 anyway, very few 1 in 3.

Cardiff mainline are roughly 1 in 3, the valleys more like 1 in 6. All Sundays are shown in the links so you will know what you are working months in advance. There are plenty who want to work Sundays, so if you don't want them there are others who will work them for you.

Crewe guards work about 1 in 4 I think. Not sure re drivers but I assume it's a guards job you've got.
