Combining Rovers with other tickets

I'm needing to do a number of journeys next week:
Day 1: Berwick - Bradford - Berwick
Day 2: Edinburgh - Kings Cross
Day 3: Euston - MK
Day 4: MK - Colchester
Day 5: Colchester - Newcastle

Now after some research I think the cheapest way of doing this is a 4-in-8 Freedom of North East Rover plus individual tickets for journeys outside this area (unless someone knows better!). My question is does the train need to stop at the station where the rover finishes and the individual ticket starts or is a Rover treated like a season ticket?

For the purposes of this Condition, a “leisure travel pass” means any multi-journey ticket (excluding Season Tickets) valid for:
(i) at least 7 consecutive days; or
(ii) at least 3 days in a period of at least 7 consecutive days

So, yes, it counts the same way as a season ticket, and you don't need to stop at the boundary station.
