Colour matching historic livery (Eastern Scottish)

Good morning fellow enthusiasts.

I am currently working on a project using the Peco Olympian kits to produce some late 80s/early 90s buses for my Edinburgh area layout.

My query regards the Dark Green used by Eastern Scottish in the time period 1987-1994 as ive been given 3 or 4 different answers. Not looking for a perfect match but as close as possible from either the revel, railmatch, phoenix or Humbrol ranges preferably in acrylic.

Also any help with the lighter green would be useful as id like to do atleast one in SMT lothians livery as well

Any help much appreciated. Focusing on the Eastern Scottish 101-110 batch.

Once ive got into a rhythm with these kits I'm going to look at doing a cut and shut to create Lothian long wheelbase ones and research what I can do with the Leyland national from the same range,

It's a pity that the Busmatch paints range is no longer available - they had Eastern green in their range. It might be worthwhile contacting Howes of Oxford who produced them alongside Railmatch. In the meantime, there's a a table here that you may find useful. It suggests Fleetmaster FM154.

[Highlandspring]

This is probably no use to you at all but the paint codes for the Mason CT P type 1K coach enamel paint used on the real Eastern Scottish fleet were - FLUK6009 DARK GREEN, FLUK6010 LIGHT GREEN, FLUK4048 CREAM and FLUK2002 YELLOW.

If you can find a motor factor near you which stocks Mason CT (produced these days by AzkoNobel) then you might be able to get a small amount mixed up, or at least get a sample that would allow you to get them colour matched by someone else. In Scotland Dingbro are Mason CT stockists and definitely understand the type of product codes above when you ask for them.
