A couple of 70s were at Hoo over the weekend and there's one there at the moment too.

I'm hoping they'll become commonly used on the Eastleigh/Hoo trips to give us a bit of relief from 66 monotony.

And hopefully ;)on the Hoo-Whitemoor after 70802 being on it last week (12/05/14)

Quite probably given that their main purpose is for the Network Rail National Delivery Service jobs, leaving the 47s, 56s & 66s to other jobs such as stock moves, Timber Jobs and Steel work etc.

70808 and 70809 currently on trailers at Royal Seaforth Dock, arrived early AM. Scheduled to be lifted Monday AM with maintenance / fuelling following over next couple of days afterwards. No departure date known. 70810 poss delivered by end of month.
They travelled to Crewe this afternoon, departing Seaforth CT I think around 16.00hrs! Although I live local, not seen any of the Colas 70's that have arrived at the docks - combination of circumstances have prevented from happening!

I'm rather surprised know-one has picked up on the Colas Rail news today - 70810 has arrived into Seaforth Docks today and will be departing next week, whilst 70808 has gone on hire to Freightliner whilst their own 70s go through another mod programme at Brush Loughborough - 2 at a time, and the mods include fitting the extra cooling system that the Colas ones were delivered with.

Also in Colas news today, 60087 has emerged - the first from DBs Super 60 overhaul for Colas - in Colas Rails livery. That post and picture is in the Colas Class 60 thread.
