A friend of mine heard this on a train today on the pa and assumed I'd know what it means.

I don't!

I think it was on an Avanti service.

Was it not Coach C for Charlie? That's mentioned on Avanti frequently due to being the location of the shop.

I've not noticed it on the tariff, or is it very much an 'under the counter' transaction?! 8-)
