So Im just watching this on the Yesterday channel all about how Holland dealt with their flood defences after they got hammered over 50 years ago and they have practically rebuilt their whole coastline to suit them with some stunning infrastructre.

Whilst I am aware being an island we can do nothing like this it is still fascinating stuff and does make you wonder what we could do to assist ourselves - a sea canal from Weymouth to Minehead anyone??:lol:
