The abbey pumping station in Leicester will be taking their 1939 Bedford coal fired fish and chip van to the great central's wartime weekend this weekend. They will be cooking chips for sampling. All donations for the chips go towards the upkeep of the vehicles in the collection and various other projects to keep the museum going. Please say hi to Andy and Barrie, who will be slaving away over a very hot, coal fired range. Just hope they don't run out.
