Thought it was worth having a thread for this expanding group operation… I used to work for them before moving to Australia so it’s really good to see the growth ongoing.

Recent acquisitions were Lucketts, Worthing Coaches, Clarke’s and Kings Ferry from National Express.
Indeed Kings Ferry have recently registered a new operating base at Stansted Airport, and I wonder if they’ll be the operator of the new Flibco service… or indeed both with Liverpool St transferring from Readybus?

Talking of the Flibco operation they will shortly be launching a second service from Stansted to Finsbury Park via Enfield & Wood Green, which will run to an awkward 45 min frequency. With generous turnaround times at both ends it looks like it will be a PVR of 6 or 7, and there’s a photo on LinkedIn of a Levante 3 branded up for the service, quite possibly a KF or Lucketts one. This will launch on 20th April

Photo shows a Levante 3 branded for Flibco with dual branded routes both to Liverpool St and Finsbury Park.

When I was there the intention was to use Stewarts’ old depot as an engineering base for the whole London & SE operations.

Hilarious. Those levantes were destined for start hill national express. Until they realised they couldn’t afford them.
