Was reading the article in Rail Mag about the upcoming TSGN Franchise, it was saying that until the cls 700's are available that cls 387's will be used as a stop-gap, was wondering if anyone had specs or info as to what these are

They are a 4 car dual voltage Electrostars, generally referred to as 377/8 until the TSGN franchise ITT came out last year.

I think it was suggested the designation has been changed to 387 because they will be 110mph units, for use wherever they are eventually cascaded to. Probably best to continue in the other thread though...
