The Cotswold Line Promotion Group website is showing some signs of life after a long period of being dormant.
A new post has appeared today about a special steam train the group is chartering on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway on the evening of Saturday, April 21, as part of the celebrations of the CLPG's 40th Anniversary this year.
The train will leave Toddington at 6pm, first running on the new extension into Broadway, then travelling the full length of the GWSR to Cheltenham Racecourse, getting back to Toddington for 8pm.
Tickets are £15 for CLPG members and £18 for non-members, children aged 5 to 15 are £10 (ignore the £12 figure given at one point on the page, a flyer in the last CLPG newsletter was clear it is £10) and tickets for under-5s are free. Ploughman's suppers delivered to passengers at their seats can be pre-booked for £7 and there will also be a buffet car.

NB: No online payment set-up is available, so probably best to call or email the CLPG treasurer - his contact details are on the web page - about their bank account details to make a transfer that way if you don't want to send a cheque.
