The Chiltern Main Line runs through the following closed stations:

West Wycombe
Ilmer Halt
Haddenham (Haddenham and Thame Parkway opened in 1987, half a mile to the north west)
Dorton Halt
Brill and Ludgershall
Blackthorn
Ardley
Ayno Park
Cropredy
Fenny Compton
Southam Road & Harbury

As RPM says, West Wycombe is the only one with any potential for reopening.

There were two more: Ruislip Gardens and South Harefield Halt.

In terms of surviving structures, the ticket office building still survives at Aynho Park and there are visible platform remains at Ardley, Brill & Ludgershall, Fenny Compton, Haddenham and West Wycombe

Isn't Ruislip Gardens still open on the London Underground Central Line?

I must make a visit to these closed stations with surviving structures, most of them are not too far away from me.

Kenilworth is another example between Coventry and Leamington Spa. (You'd think it would be easy to slap down a single platform - it would be well-used, particularly by commuters).

Exactly what they're doing. Planning permission was granted on April 21. No idea when they'll start construction though.

Clicky.

Read in TRUK yesterday (the new issue, out in most station WH Smith's the Saturday beforehand) that Kenilworth had been suspended indefinitely...

Anyone mentioned Monkwearmouth?

dont think monkwearmouth would ever be reopened as a mainline station now with the introduction of the t+w metro system especially with st peters walking distance form it and stadium of light station just through the tunnels. yeah access is still there through the museum and acess there from the stadium side but wouldnt really get used i dont think. ive noticed as well theres been a lot of activity going on in that area lately as well with network rail not sure whats going on though
