The final station (under the rules of this "emergency" leg) is Bala Junction.....this station was stated as such, under the preamble to this leg.

I will now have to start a new leg. I have two different routes, but will choose one in Scotland. The new leg will be on the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway from the open station at Keith to the Aberdeen area, proceeding southwards from Keith.

The first closed station is.....Grange

Kittybrewster....this had both the original and second stations.

On the matter of Aberdeen Waterloo, it was not on the same line that led to an open station to end this particular quiz leg.

**********************************************************************************

So we shall start a new leg, this time at the opposite end of the country, starting at the open station at Plymouth, running southwards to the open station of Penzance.

The first closed station is....

Wingfield Villas Halt

Are you allowing Bodmin Rd?

It closed as Bodmin Rd to become Bodmin Parkway!

Unfortunately not....closed means that a station was never reopened as far as this quiz is concerned. The rules section on the first posting have been made clearer to reflect this matter.

There was an example of three such type of re-opened stations referred to in posting # 78 at the start of the leg regulations (Gretna/Sanquhar/New Cumnock) that were "banned in advance" from being used.

Have we not missed out Grampound Road? Or am I back to front in their locations?

Sorry for not being on line sooner, but I have only just returned from an emergency hospital visit......... I will now reply as follows:-

There is a station after Doublebois that was not named......

Respryn.....that was a temporary station that closed in 1859.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

In reply to richw........You are correct with Grampound Road, but this station was AFTER (not before) Burngullow.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Now we are back in order, the next station is....

Probus and Ladock Halt
