From Monmouth Troy, the railway ran services on that line to Dingestow, a distance just over three miles as its first station stop opened in the 1930's, from what a locally-based rail historian told me, when I was designing this journey.

Wyesham Halt had already been posted a few posting ago on posting #169,305, whilst we were traversing the line of the Wye Valley Railway.
