We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 2048 in the series so far.....

It then follows the line of the Monmouthshire Railway and Canal Company...via Pontypool (Crane Street)
It then follows the line of the Pontypool, Caerleon and Newport Railway...via Cwmbran (GWR)
It then follows the line of the GWR Newport to Gloucester Line...via Llanwern...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Wye Valley Railway...via Tidenham
It then follows the line of the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway...via Monmouth Troy
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway...via Little Mill Junction
It then follows the line of the Taff Vale Extension Railway...via Pontypool Clarence Street
It then follows the line of the TVR Llancaiach Branch Line...via Nelson Glam
It then follows the line of the TVR Pont Shon Norton Branch Line.. via Cilfynydd and Albion Colliery
It then follows the line of the Llantrisant and Taff Vale Junction Railway...via Tonteg Halt
It then follows the line of the Ely Valley Railway...via Coed Ely
The journey ends at the closed station of Penygraid
