I am trying to see how we get to the next line on the itinerary. If I am right, we should have continued from

Mirfield (1st Station...1845-1866)

Further eastward along the Manchester & Leeds Railway's line towards Wakefield rather than north up the L&NW line through Dewsbury. In which case the next station would be:

Thornhill

That was a station on the LNWR line from Manchester to Leeds, but we still have a number of closed stations to name on the line we currently traverse...The Manchester & Leeds Railway.
