Hope that you recall that this matter was also discussed years ago and that station was deemed to be acceptable as a posting on this quiz, on account of the distance between the original station site and the site of the new station.
The reason being is that when the original station was closed, the station site was sold so a new station site had to be found in readiness for the reopening on 28th July 1980 and the new site chosen was to the east of the Causway Street overbridge, within the railway cutting.

Paisley Canal (1st station) is therefore a valid posting on this quiz.
