We next move to England for the next journey.....
This is number 2009 in the series so far.....
The journey starts at the closed station of Ashton Park Parade
It follows the line of the MSL Stalybridge to Guide Bridge Line...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Oldham, Ashton and Guide Bridge Railway...via Ashton Moss
It then follows the line of the LNWR Oldham to Greenfield Line...via Oldham Mumps (LNWR)
It then follows the line of the LNWR Manchester to Leeds Line...via Saddleworth
It then follows the line of the GNR Batley Branch Line...via Upper Batley...via Howden Clough
It then follows the line of the Leeds, Bradford and Halifax Junction Railway...via Drighlington and Adwalton...via St Dunstans
It then follows the line of the Bradford and Thornton Railway...via Manchester Road
It then follows the line of the GNR Queensbury to Keighley Line...via Queensbury
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway...via Kildwick and Crosshills (1st station)...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway...via Bott Lane Halt
It then follows the line of the LYR Padiham Loop Line...via Padiham

Remember that the journey preamble is your friend.
That station is not on the line of the next railway on this journey that we shall access...the Oldham, Ashton and Guide Bridge Railway.

Sorry, that was a station on the LNWR Stalybridge Junction Line, which we do not visit on the journey.
At the end of the first station on this journey, we passed through the open station of Guide Bridge to access the next line on this journey...the Oldham, Ashton and Guide Bridge Railway.

Remembering that the small halt after the open station at Greenfield was only ever used on "Delph Donkey" services, despite being on the main line, similar to the case of Saltney Ferry on the North Wales Coast Line on the ine of the Mold Railway services. So I will name.....

Not so, as that was a station on the GNR Earlsheaton Branch Line, which we do not visit on this journey.
After Staincliffe & Batley Carr on the main line, at the open station at Batley, we would take the short GNR Batley Branch Line with two closed stations upon it, which leads us on to the Leeds, Bradford & Halifax Junction Railway.
