We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 2001 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Llangynog
It follows the line of the Tanat Valley Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway...via Llynclys
It then follows the line of the Newtown and Machynlleth Railway...via Scafell Halt
It then follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway...via Glandyfi
It then follows the line of the GWR Aberystwyth to Carmarthen Line...via Llanrhystyd Road
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Carmarthen Junction...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Vae of Glamorgan Line...via Southerndown Road...via Penarth Loop Line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Roath
It then follows the line of the GWR Newport to Gloucester Line...via Llanwern...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Wye Valley Railway...via Tidenham
It then follows the line of the Ross and Monmouth Railway...via Monmouth Mayhill
The journey ends at the closed station of Walford Halt

The first closed station on this journey is Llangynog
