We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1987 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Shipley and Windhill
It follows the line of the GNR Shipley and Windhill Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Leeds, Bradford and Halifax Junction Railway...via Laisterdyke
It then follows the line of the Bradford, Wakefield & Leeds Railway...via Lofthouse and Outwood (1st station)
It then follows the line of the West Riding and Grimsby Railway...via Hare Park & Crofton
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line...via Rossington
It then follows the line of the GCR Sheffield to Lincoln Line...via Checker House
It then follows the line of the Lancashire, Derbyshire & East Coast Railway...via Skellingthorpe
It then follows the line of the LNER Leen Valley Line...via Shirebrook South
It then follows the line of the GNR Derbyshire and Staffordshire Extension...via Daybrook
It then follows the line of the GNR Heanor Branch Line...via Marlpool
The journey ends at the closed station of Heanor

The first closed station on this journey is Shipley and Windhill
