We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 1980 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Swansea St Thomas
It follows the line of the Swansea Vale Railway
It then follows the line of the Swansea Vale and Neath and Brecon Joint Railway...via Ystradgynlais
It then follows the line of the Neath and Brecon Railway...via Colbren Junction
It then follows the line of the Mid-Wales Railway...viaGroesffordd Halt
It then follows the line of the Brecon and Merthyr Railway...via Talyllyn Junction (BMR)...via Talybont-on-Usk
It then follows the line of the Monmouthshire Railway and Canal Company...via Newport Courtybella
It then follows the line of the Pontypool, Caerleon and Newport Railway...via Cwmbran (GWR)
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Marshfield
It then follows the line of the Cowbridge Railway...via Llanharry
The journey ends at the closed station of Aberthaw Low Level

The first closed station on this journey is Swansea St Thomas
