We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1974 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Lanark Racecourse
It follows the line of the CR Douglas Branch Line
It then follows the line of the CR Muirkirk Branch Line...via Douglas West
It then follows the line of the GPK&A Muirkirk Branch Line...via Muirkirk (2nd station)
It then follows the line of the G&SWR Cumnock to Ayr Line...via Cumnock
It then follows the line of the G&SWR Holehouse Branch Line...via Rankinston
It then follows the line of the Ayr and Dalmellington Railway...via Hollybush
It then follows the line of the Ayr and Maybole Junction Railway...via Dalrymple
It then follows the line of the Maybole and Girvan Railway...via Crosshill (Ayrshire)
It then follows the line of the Girvan and Portpatrick Junction Railway...via Pinmore
It then follows the line of the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway...via Dunragit
It then follows the line of the Castle Douglas and Dumfries Railway...via Castle Douglas
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway...via Racks
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...via Gretna
It then follows the line of the MR Settle to Carlisle Line...via Scotby
It then follows the line of the Wensleydale Railway...via Askrigg...Beware of heritage stations
The journey ends at the closed station of Crakehall
