A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1970 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of St Combs
It follows the line of the Fraserburgh and St Combs Light Railway
It then follows the line of the GNoS Formatrine and Buchan Railway...via Fraserburgh
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Main Line...via Stoneywood
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line...via Kittybrewster (3rd station)
It then follows the line of the Deeside Railway...via Holburn Street
It then follows the line of the Deeside Extension Railway...via Dee Street Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Ballater

The first closed station on this journey is St Combs
