We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1963 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Harborne
It follows the line of the LNWR Harborne Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Stour Valley Railway...via Monument Lane...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway...via Bushbury
It then follows the line of the LNWR Stafford to Shrewsbury Line...via Haughton
It then follows the line of the Wellington and Drayton Railway...via Longdon Halt
It then follows the line of the Nantwich and Market Railway...via Adderley
It then follows the line of the Crewe and Shrewsbury Railway...via Hadnall
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury and Birmingham Railway...via Abbey Foregate
It then follows the line of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway...via Wolverhampton Low Level
It then follows the line of the GWR Bumble Hole Line...via Baptist End
It then follows the line of the Halesowen Railway...via Coombes Holloway Halt
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway...via Cofton
It then follows the line of the Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway...via Ebley Crossing Halt
It then follows the line of the GWR Cirencester Branch Line...via Park Leaze Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Cirencester Town

The first closed station on this journey is Harborne

HINTS...This station was opened on 1st November 1876 and closed on 26th August 1957.

It is NOT Soho and Winson Green, although that station did carry the name of this station after this station was closed

The station that follows after this station had two station sites, the first site 1853-1880 and the second site 1880-1949.
